Disney Cruises
Beauty and The Beast, a brand new musical stage show production is set to begin November of this year on "The Dream" vessel
In 2014, my family and I went on our first Disney Cruise, the vessel we cruised was the Dream, and truly it was a Dream. From the moment we arrived at the terminal until we disembarked, there was so many surprises and events, it was truly unbelievable. I will post further details on the cruise later today or tomorrow, stay tuned
In Feb 2015, my family and I boarded the DISNEY DREAM, on route to Nassau, Bahamas, and then Castaway Cay for the cruise of a lifetime, aside from meeting friends we will have forever, each one of us experienced a truly different Magical Experience. My oldest son, Nicholas, was 17 at the time, and he was amazed at the events the Disney cast members planned for teenagers. One unique, and fun event they did with the teenagers, was an actual film production, that was shown to the parents the final night of the sail. It was really amazing for the teenagers as they met other individuals from all around the world, some that are still in contact on a regular basis, isn't that awesome!!
My youngest son Spencer is dyslexic, and is fascinated with Walt Disney, himself, as he too was dyslexic. His unforgettable moment was when he met a best friend for life. This all happened by chance, as they would never have met had he had not been disappointed by missing the Chip and Dale characters. Let me explain, Spencer and myself were in the lobby atrium area when we looked up and spotted Chip and Dale, doing character photos, we quickly walked to the elevator, but as we arrived on that level they were leaving. The cast member, explained that the next day they would be at Castaway Cay and we could visit them there. Spencer was okay with that, but as we turned away we noticed an older gentleman sitting all alone. We went over to say hello, and introduce ourselves, little did we know he observed everything that just took place. Spencer, was wearing a Chip and Dale hat, and ironically his name was Dale as well. Spencer also told him, he was dyslexia and loved Walt Disney. Dale, was overjoyed to have met Spencer, and they clicked. With that, Dale arranged a private photo shoot, with Chip and Dale. He also asked us all to follow him as he wanted to buy Spencer a gift, and then when we disembarked, there was a card in our door, addressed to Spencer, Love Chip and Dale. It was written as though Chip and Dale were dyslexic. It turns out Dale is a VIP with Disney Cruise. Its been 3 years since we seen him but I am planning to see him this year. Moments like this is what makes Disney so special to many families. I encourage you to plan today, not oh we will plan soon, NO! start planning, tomorrow is promised to no one.
